IGNOU MBA 2015 Admission Prospectus & Last Date to Apply

IGNOU MBA 2014 Prospectus
Indra Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, India is inviting applications for its management courses (MBA) through entrance test OpenMAT 2015.Students fulfilling the below mentioned eligibility criteria can apply for IGNOU MBA 2015. The last date to apply for admission is January 2015.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduate with any recognized Bachelors Degree of minimum 3 years duration in any field with at least 55 percent marks of Graduation level. Graduates in Commerce / Arts/ Science / Economics/ Statistics/ Engineering & Technology are preferred.

Clearance of Openmat conducted by IGNOU. Candidate who have successfully cleared the entrance test conducted by the institutions like CAT, MAT, and state level tests need not appear in Openmat. The cutoff percentage for admission of these candidates will be decided by the University, Subject to a minimum of 40%. The university will not accept the score of other examining bodies in terms of percentile.

The University reserves the right to grant/deny admission to any of the candidates. there is no age bar for admission into IGNOU MBA 2015.

Last Date to Submit the Application Form

The last date to send filled in application form to Registrar (SED), IGNOU Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068 is on or before 10th January 2015.

Handbook and Prospectus

Student handbook and prospectus can be obtained from the Registrar (SRD), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi and from all the Regional centres of IGNOU by sending a sum of Rs.550, through a DD/ IPO in favour of IGNOU, payable at New Delhi/ city of concerned Regional Centre or by paying Rs.500 in cash at the respective sale counters.

Last date for receipt of request for prospectus by post is January 15,2015. However, it can also be downloaded from the website www.ignou.ac.in and sent along with a DD/ IPO of Rs.550.

Walk-In Admissions

Students who has successfully qualified the entrance exam can submit the application form for admission into IGNOU MBA 2015 along with required documents & fee to the respective regional center on any day after the receipt of result card but not later than May 31,2015 for admission cycle starting from July 2015. Provision for online admission will also be available on IGNOU website http://www.ignou.ac.in.

IGNOU offers 2 years distance learning BEd course under school of education & the course is recognized by all member Universities of Association of India Universities (AIU) and are at par with Degree of all Indian Universities/Institutions. The medium of the course is Hindi & English only.

IGNOU B.Ed Admission

As we've already mentioned in our last post on B.Ed from IGNOU that the admission to the 2 years BEd course will be purely based on eligibility criteria set by the university & candidate's performance in the entrance test conducted by Indra Gandhi National Open University. However the reservation for SC/ST/OBC(Non-Creamy Layer) and other categories shall be per the rules of the Central Government. There shall be relaxation of five percent marks in favour of SC/ST/Kashmiri Migrant and other categories of candidates, if any, as per Govt. of India Rules.

IGNOU B.Ed Eligibility Criteria

  • A Bachelor’s or higher degree from a recognized university with 50% marks, AND 
  • Two years’ full time teaching experience on temporary/permanent basis as Primary/Graduate/Post Graduate teacher in a primary, secondary/higher/senior secondary school with registration number recognized by the respective Directorate of Education or Central or State Government or Union Territory. The teacher should be in service at the time of submitting application form as well as at the time of producing the original documents at the Regional Centre.

Entrance Test

The test paper will consist of two parts A & B. Part A will consist of the following aspects: General English Comprehension, Logical & Analytical Reasoning, Educational & General Awareness, Teaching-Learning & the School and Part B will consist of the subjects: Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, English & Hindi. however from part B only subject is to be attempted. The test items of Part-B i.e. Subject Competence will be based in the curriculum of IX/X classes prescribed by the NCERT/CBSE.

IGNOU BEd Entrance Test
IGNOU is going to conduct an entrance test for its 2 years B.Ed course in the month of August. Candidates who are seeking admission into IGNOU B.Ed course and meet the eligibility criteria can appear in this entrance test to get admission in 2015 admission cycle. All admission into IGNOU B.Ed programme will be done on the basis of IGNOU BEd Entrance Exam.
The IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Test to be conducted on August, 2015.
The IGNOU B.Ed programme is equipped with self-learning material, information technology & personal contacts programme. The course is recognized by the NCTE & being offered in NCTE approved B.Ed Training Colleges of Education in the country.

The total duration of the programme is 2 years and medium of instruction is English & Hindi only.

Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Take Admission

  1. A UGC Recognized bachelor degree or a higher degree with 50% marks.
  2. Serving teachers with two years full time teaching experience in a Government or Government Recognized Primary/Sec/Sr. Sec School with registration number.
The reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/WW/KM will be as per the government rules.There shall be relaxation of 5% marks as per GOI.

There is no age bar for admission however the admission will be made based on the ranking obtained in the entrance exam.

Indra Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) offers it's 2 years B.Ed course under School of Education. The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Programme of IGNOU aims at developing the understanding and competencies required by practising teachers for effective teaching-learning process at the secondary stage. IGNOU offer this programme under distance learning mode. In our today's we're gonna tell you about IGNOU BEd admission procedure, fee structure, eligibility criteria & syllabus details.

Course Duration

The minimum duration of the B.Ed course offered by IGNOU is 2 years & maximum is 4 years.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A Bachelor’s or higher degree from a recognized university, AND 
  • Two years full-time regular teaching experience on temporary/permanent basis as Primary/Graduate/Post-Graduate Teachers in Primary, Secondary/Higher/Senior secondary school recognized by the central or a state government or a union territory are eligible to take admission.

Fee Structure

Note: The course fee is not to be paid along with the filled-in application form. There will be a seprate communication about admission and payment of fee.

Admission Procedure

There is no minimum or maximum age bar to take admission into IGNOU BEd program however admission will be made Regional Centre-wise on the basis of the score obtained in the entrance test conducted by IGNOU all over India. The candidate will be required to submit the filled-in application form with attested copy of documents as specified in Entrance-cum-Admission Form.

India's top business school, XLRI Jamshedpur School of Business & Human Resources is going to announce admission into distance learning MBA courses (Online MBA/satellite programme) for 2015. In our today's post we're going to tell our readers about XLRI distance learning MBA admission procedure, eligibility criteria, fee structure for 2015.

XLRI offers total 5 distance learning management courses which are specially tailored to meet the need of today's working professionals/executives. Duration of all the programs is 12 months.

These programmes are offered by broadband infrastructure to deliver real time, synchronous, live education to all the participating students. The professor teaches from the studio of XLRI. All of the course material will be provided by XLRI. Candidate has to complete a project work during the course as suggested by satellite center.
