Fee Structure

The fee for Online MBA programme is a bit higher compare to distance education MBA fee. Candidate has to pay Rs.25000 per semester. There are total 4 semester in the Online MBA course.

Each candidate is required to submit the fee at the beginning of each semester. Study Material will be dispatched only after the fee will be deposited. There will be no reminder from the institute about fee. If a candidate fails on deposit fee on time, he will not be allowed to get study material and attending PCPs.

Candidate can make payment through Demand Draft only, in favour of IMT-CDL, payable at city of the respective information & facilitation centre except for Delhi/NCR which should be payable at Delhi. All payment will be non refundable. Students can also make online payments from IMT CDL official website http://www.imtcdl.ac.in/

There is a 20% concession to serving/retired defense personnel (Army, Airforce and Navy personnel only), SC/ST, war widows and handicapped candidates.

Selection Process

The selection to the various programmes of IMT-Centre for Distance Learning is based on screening by the selection committee. Admission to Two year (PGDM) Programme is through admission test to be conducted at the study centres by IMT-CDL (Head Office). For One Year Diploma Courses admission is without entrance test.

The maximum duration for completing any course is the double number of years of normal duration.

Here is a good news for students who missed to make it to apply for admission in IMT Ghaziabad distance learning MBA program in January 2014 session. Institute of Management & Technology Ghaziabad has increased the last of for admission into 2 years post graduate diploma program (MBA). Earlier the last date to apply for 2 years MBA program was 15 January 2015 & entrance exam date would be 19 January 2015, But now when we visit their official website, we found that admission last date & entrance exam date has been changed.

Admission Procedure

Visit your nearest PTU learning centre for complete knowledge. For distance education the admission is held twice a year-march &September. The University follows semester pattern and conduct exams twice-March & September. Counseling took place at the official centers only and the perspective candidate need to carry the entire testimonial’s attested copy with him/her. Admission procedure is completely dependent upon the availability of seats and just the submission of form in no regards confirms the admission. You need to have a roll number given by the university in order to be a part of this learning. Centers will inform to the candidates who got the admission or who failed to get the admission on their own. University break in its prospectus every semester with entire course detail including fee structure, OMR form and the whole set of rules and regulation of PTU.

Payment Procedure

Candidate should pay the sub total of examination fees along with semester fees in a demand draft in behalf of Registrar, Punjab Technical University and it should be payable only at Jalandhar. You are not allow paying the fees in liquid cash or on any other name except what is mentioned above. To the learning centre you can pay only the library security money which should not exceed Rs. 1,000/- and is refundable and in case if you have opt for technological courses then the lab charges which should be either less or equivalent to the 1/4th of the total course fees. Once paid, the fees will be not refundable in any mode.

5) MBA in various stream including Human Resource Management, Hospital Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Marketing, Pharmaceutical Management and Retail- this course has 4 semesters to be covered in 2 years.

6) Diploma in Pharmacy in Allopathy and Ayurveda- It requires a duration of 2 years which is further divided into 4 Semesters to achieve.

7) Bachelor in Pharmacy in Allopathy and Ayurveda- under AICTE rules it requires 8 semesters in 4 years to be completed.

8) LLB- you need to score at least 50% if you belong to General quota or 45% if you are from SC/ST in order to enroll yourself for 3 years course.

9) BALLB- you need to score at least 50% if you belong to General quota or 45% if you are from SC/ST in order to enroll yourself for this 5 years course.

10) BA- you need to be at least 12 pass with English subject to enroll yourself for this 6 semesters course in 3 years.

11) MA- Graduate students with 45% marks or 2nd division holder or honors subject holders can go for this 4 semester’s course to be conducted in 2 years.

12) B. Com- a 12 pass students with minimum 45% can apply for this 3 years course to be held in 6 semesters.

13) M.Com- B.Com Students with at least 50% marks can opt for this 2 years course.

Students belonging to SC/ST get a rebate of 5% in educational qualification in all the above mentioned cases.

Kerala University Distance Education Admission Notification has been out now. Students seeking admissions into various distance learning courses offered by University of Kerala can apply for the admission. Admissions are now open for more than 40 courses including various diploma courses, undergraduate courses, postgraduate programmes & management courses.

If you're looking to take admissions into certificate or PG diploma courses, TC & Migration certificate is not required to take the admissions. Students seeking admission into Kerala University distance education MBA course has to go through an entrance exam which is scheduled to be conducted on October 2015 (Tentative).

Important Dates for Admission 2015

The following are the deadlines to submit the application forms

For Undergraduate courses the last date to apply is 31/07/2015 (Tentative)
For Post Graduate / PG Diploma / Certificate programmes the last date is 31/08/2015 (Tentative)

How to Apply

Students need to buy a prospectus which include an application form from university website i.e http://www.ideku.net or from School of distance education Palayam office. Forms can also be purchased from Forms Sales Counter, Palayam Campus and also from the District and Taluk Information Centers of the Kerala University as well as from the Learners’ Support Centres. The cost of prospectus is Rs.250 for all Indian residents, for foreign students the cost of prospectus is Rs.500. MBA students also need to pay Rs.200 additional as entrance exam fee.

University of Kerala advice to the students that they should apply for admission to these courses online and send the acknowledgement with required documents to Kerala University School of Distance Education office at the address S D E, University of Kerala, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram, PIN: 695 034.

How to Pay Fee

Fee can be paid through demand draft. Students from Kerala can get the DD made from SBT branches in favor of The Finance Officer, University of Kerala payable at SBT service branch Thiruvananthapuram or from the District Co-operative Bank branches payable at State Co-operative Bank Head office Branch at Thiruvananthapuram.

Students reside outside Kerala are required to get the Demand Draft made from SBI branches payable at SBI Main Branch, Thiruvananthapuram.

Overseas students may submit DD from any Scheduled Bank.

Student can also submit the fee at Cash Counters at Kariavattom and Palayam campuses and at the Janasevana Kendram. Students are required to pay Rs.10 additional as a service charge if they'll make the payment through DD.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for Kerala University distance education admission, student must have a bachelor degree in any discipline with minimum 50 % marks. There is one aptitude test that student has to appear to get the admission.

Fee Details

The total fee for distance education MBA course offered by Kerala University is Rs.30,000. The fee can be paid in installment. The first installment which is to be paid in 1st semester is Rs.7500. Although various other fees i.e Affiliation, admission, examination application etc are to be paid separately.

Fee can be paid through Demand Drafts drawn from any SBI/District Co-Operative Banks in favour of The Finance Officer, University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

Admission Procedure

Students may obtain a prospectus from institute of distance education by paying Rs.250. University publish a detailed notification each year in major news papers in the month of May-June for admissions. Students may also apply for the admission online through university website. You will have to remit the cost of Application form and Prospectus (Rs. 250/-) before submitting on-line Application.

M.Sc.

Candidates must have passed B.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. Agri. / B.Sc. Home Sc. / any other equivalent degree in Science from Kuvempu, or any other recognized university to be eligible for M.Sc. course.

L.L.M.

Candidates must have passed L.L.B. / B.L. from Kuvempu or any other recognized university to apply for L.L.M course.

B.L.I. Sc. / M.L.I. Sc.

Any types of graduates from either Kuvempu University, or from any other UGC recognized university are eligible to apply for the course of B.L.I.Sc.
Any graduate who has passed B.L.I. Sc. / B. Lib. Sc. From Kuvempu, or any other recognized university can apply for M.L.I. Sc. course.

M.B.A.

The candidate would have to qualify in the Entrance Examination conducted by Kuvempu. Weightage for qualifying marks and Entrance Examination score shall be 50 - 50. Admissions to this course shall be based entirely on merit.

B.A. / B. Com. / B.B.M. / B.Sc.

1.            (i)            Students shall be admitted to B.A. / B.Com. / B.B.M. on the basis of their passing of either Pre University, or 12thstandard or equivalent.
                (ii)           For B.Sc., candidates should have passed Computer Science PUC, or 10+2, or any other equivalent science course.
                (iii)          For admission to B.A., B. Com., BBM and B.Sc., candidates who have passed ITI / JOC from recognized institutes within Karnataka are also eligible to apply.

Application Form along with Prospectus can be obtained from the address given below wither by post, or in person after the payment of required fees.

The application, duly completed in all aspects has to be submitted back to the Directorate before the last date, as specified in the prospectus.
Students may download application forms for the course they are interested to join by visiting the official website of Kuvempu University Distance Education. Once the form has been downloaded, they would have to make a payment for the form either by SBI Bank Challan, or through NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer). After the payment of application fee, they have to send the printed application form along with all the required documents to the Director of Distance Education, Education University (complete address in point number 1). 
Above triplet forms are available only for admission to first year of the courses. For students interested in taking admission to second or final year of the course, they would have to use the copies of quadruplet challan given during the year 2011-12.
